How is the diamond segments quality if used low grade diamond particles?

There are four common situations in the performance of low-grade diamond crystals in the stone cutting process.

1). In the first case, the diamond crystals, stone, and metal bond are properly matched, the diamond is held well, and the sharpness and life are satisfactory.  For medium-hard granite, medium-hard to soft granite, marble, and basalt, Perhaps it is entirely feasible to use such diamond.

2) In the second case, the diamond falls off, the sharpness decreases obviously and life are seriously insufficient. For stones with high hardness, coarse-grained diamonds are used which is prone to this situation.  In addition, the sintering temperature is not enough, the pressure is uneven, and the volume of the cutter head is too large, which is also prone to this situation.

3). In the third case, the diamond is ground flat, because of the poor quality of the diamond, especially for hard stones with finer grains.  The grounded diamond crystals, like a shield, protect the bonding agent and seriously affect the cutting edge of the diamond in the lower layer. Although there is long life, the sharpness is seriously insufficient.

4). In the fourth case, the diamond crystals are crushed, and a part remains in the bond. This part of the diamond crystal is very sharp, which is beneficial to the segment, but the action time is very short.  For hard stone, this part can't improve the sharpness, but for soft granite and marble, this kind of diamond can be used.
